Understand human browser reporting, AI-referred traffic, and agent activity boundaries.
Site Analytics measures privacy-conscious website activity associated with human sessions and reports AI-referred traffic separately from AI crawler activity.
Browser reporting
The browser beacon can support:
- page views and single-page application navigation;
- eligible link clicks during configured goal collection;
- eligible native form submissions during configured goal collection;
- explicit customer-defined success events;
- landing path, current path, referrer hostname, device category, and accepted UTM dimensions;
- anonymous, time-bounded session reporting.
Test traffic is excluded from customer performance metrics.
Agent reporting
Agent Analytics records crawler requests or bounded response observations from supported adapters. It does not merge those records into human browser sessions. Evidence labels identify whether a record is an exact request log, an exact response observation, a near-time match, or a simulation.
Reporting language
- Eligible sessions are browser sessions included in the selected report window.
- Goal-reaching sessions are distinct eligible sessions with at least one event matched to a goal.
- Goal rate is goal-reaching sessions divided by eligible sessions.
- Goal events are distinct matched events and are shown separately from session-level results.
- AI-referred visits are browser visits whose recognized referrer is associated with an AI service.
- Agent activity describes crawler access and is not a human visit or conversion.
Optimly presents observed sequences and correlation. It does not claim that AI caused a customer's action.
